While BMSC remains operational with essential staff, we are exploring opportunities to provide new spring/summer course additions and BMSC Live experiences, offered via online teaching and learning, to provide more students with the opportunity to continue progressing through their programs during these times.

Join a virtual learning experience at Canada’s premier marine science facility on the wild west coast. We provide educational programming for university and K-12 groups. Contact us for details and custom requests.

Join us to learn about the exciting and important research our Researchers and Alumni have been doing at BMSC! Our Research Seminar Series has moved to a free online format – speaker schedule coming soon!

SCHOLARSHIPS & BURSARIES

BMSC offers scholarships to undergraduate students, and bursaries for Field Trips groups and individual students to help support the cost of visiting BMSC on a field trip for your school.

UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS

A competitive award to support an undergraduate student’s return to BMSC for a short time during a subsequent semester, to complete research started during a BMSC course.
