Research in the Levitan lab is a family affair. The Levitan family are are working together as a research team here at BMSC this summer. Don’s wife Chelsae helps in the lab. Son Jeremy designs gizmo’s for collecting fertilized eggs in the field and he along with daughter, Keeha are part of the SCUBA team. Graduate students Ellen Kosman and Kevin Olsen of Florida State University make up the team of six studying the prevalence of polyspermy in sea urchin fertilization in the field.
